October 2006 Activities

                              

                       

  Monty Tech JROTC students marched 10 miles on the Rail Trail on October 7, 2006. The march was a fundraiser to directly benefit the Monty Tech Student Assistance Fund. Approximately 65 - 80 cadets  participated in the march on October 7.  The cadets were accompanied by 1st Sergeant Paul Jornet, 1st Sergeant Robert Simone and several parent volunteers.  The cadets were dressed in cammies and  marched in formation for the duration.  The march began at the Cider Mill in Sterling and ended at the parking lot at Mill Street and Route 31 in Holden.
